Vancouver Island based band Current Swell is 4 guys on a mission. Scott Stanton, Davers Lang, Louis Sadava, and Chris Petersen have a unique style of music that is deeply rooted in folk and blues, reggae inspired, and rock driven. The musical recipe is equal parts prairie and coastal, blending a couple of acoustic guitars, a lap slide, harmonica, drums, bass, and 3 vocal mics. Protect Your Own shows that Current Swell has really begun to find their own distinctive sound and branch out and experiment with a grittier, bluesy sound. This is some "Swell" music!
