This Los Angeles quartet has been at it since 2003, but with their 2nd LP Person To Person, Foreign Born is now getting the recognition and accolades that they deserve. Foreign Born write and perform 'anthemic' indie rock/pop songs full of lush and dense sounds that are rounded out with some extremely catchy hooks. Each song has an almost perfect balance of clashing cymbals, fuzzy guitar riffs, horns, and synths. Person To Person is chock full of gems and this just might be as good an indie record as you'll hear for awhile.
