Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad(GPGDS) is a high energy reggae act from Rochester, NY. Their sound is a mix of roots reggae and experimental dub. I have yet to see them, but from what I have read they are an explosive live act. The band describes themselves as "a fully growing independent unit of friends, family, & truth seekers - committed to connecting great people with great music." GPGDS has a real positive vibe that can simultaneously calm you as well as keep happily groovin'. If you get the chance to see them live, take it, but for now take a listen to some nice roots & dub.

Trying to find some new reggae bands to like but none of these seem to have the good beats and music that the old faves have. Will have to keep listening.
