Amalgamah is the personal project of reggae veteran Carlos Alonso. Mellow Roots really is some mellow roots reggae that feels a lot like 70's Jamaican reggae. This album consists of two CDs, the first is vocal and contains 13 tracks involving well-known singers in the current reggae scene, as Roberto Sanchez and Ranking Forrest. The second disc is the Dub version. Pretty cool contrast there. Nice to have some new really nice easy listening roots reggae coming out of Spain (with English lyrics) :)
